My basement window wells keep leaking during heavy rain. Any tips on fixing this issue?

Having the same issue? I used to get basement flooding after downpours. I completely cleaned out the wells, added drainage gravel at the bottom, and sealed any gaps around the window frame with waterproof caulk. It mostly fixed the problem. Does that work for you? I remember playing Pacman to avoid going downstairs after those floods during the Pacman 30th Anniversary .
